Casa Galesa is a recently renovated cottage and is full of character.
This beautiful mountain hideaway is set at the head of a secluded valley surrounded by Carob, Olive, Almond and Fig trees. A truly chill out place.
During the Autumn, Winter and Spring months a waterfall and stream flow around the property when we are lucky enough to have rain. Enjoy the abundance of wild flowers and perfume from the lavender that grows throughout the year. Watch the eagles fly overhead on a clear day it’s a spectacular sight and if you’re lucky enough you will catch a glimpse of our resident fox, why not take in the unforgettable sunset while relaxing on the porch. The scenery is spectacular and offers peace and tranquility to those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily living.

Casa Galesa is a typical andalucian cottage that has recently been restored to a high standard.
This hideaway is suitable for those of us who just want to get away from it all. Enjoy the peace and quiet, relax and unwind, soak up the suns rays, sip a cool drink whilst relaxing in the hammock or take a dip in the owner’s pool.A time to recharge those batteries and learn to be as laid back as the Spanish. Also an ideal place to stay whilst exploring surrounding areas or even if you are house hunting in Spain.
The surrounding areas are suitable for walkers, photographers, painters and birdwatchers. Wildlife in the area includes foxes, eagles, hawks and a myriad of other types of birds. We also have 2 double rooms available on a bed and breakfast basis both rooms have en-suite, TV and DVD, breakfast is Continental. WE ARE A VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION.

Visit the unspoilt whitewashed mountainside village of Almogía; it has several small shops, 5 restaurants and typical Spanish bars where you can enjoy tapas and wine.
TUESDAY – the local market is held selling anything from fruit, veg and household goods, clothes and gifts. Also visit the other markets held during the week in other local villages.
Visit the historic town of Antequera, drive up the El Torcal mountain range and take in the spectacular views for miles around. Take a day out to explore the lakes of Vinuela and Iznajar. And don’t forget to spend a day in Malaga the historic capital city of Costa del Sol. Visit the town of Ronda and take in the sights of the gorge, not to be missed.
Visit the Wolf Park and the Pink Flamingo Lagoon or take a trip to the El Chorro Lakes and Gorge, all only a short drive from Casa Galesa.
